Prague is called Magic Prague for all the mysteries and legends which are linked to it. Tonight we would like to delight it with the Legends of Charles Bridge, one of the most popular symbols of the city.

So here are some pieces of information about the construction of the Charles Bridge: the first stone was laid on the 9th of July 1357 at 5:31 in the morning. Not a random date. Not at all. This exact time forms the sequence of ascending and descending odd digits: 135797531. Weird, eh? Well, here is some explanation about it.
You need to know that one of the biggest personality in Czech history is the Emperor Charles IV. He was a very interesting personality - as many others that belong to the Czech history - he believed that this magical combination of numbers would protect the bridge and maybe he was right if you think that this bridge survived wars, floods and much more.
And think about another interesting data: as far as we know Charles Bridge is one of the only bridge in the world that sees so man pedestrians walking through it every day, week and year!
