Unconventional and Hidden Romantic Spots in Prague

Few hours to the V-day: Valentine's Day

Are spending the most romantic day in Prague this year? Well, snowy Prague is already a big gift for this special day, but we had a small survey today and we picked few spots or experiences in Prague which are not very usual..let us know your feedback then!

1- Church of Saint Michal

The Church of Saint Michael is a unique scene in the middle of a wonderful Prague park - Petrin Park.
This completely wooden church was actually built in Ukraine in the second half of the 16th century. Eventually it was sold in 1793 to a neighboring village.  And then, finally it was given to the city of Prague in 1929.
Surprisingly, each time it was transfered it was taken apart piece by piece, marked and then rebuilt in it's original form in the new place.

2- Barrandov



Just behing the biggest European film studio of Barrandov you can have a breathtakling and unconventional view of Prague. Ask some locals for advice how to find a good spot, it will be worth it!

3 - Vinohrady - Havlickovy Sady



Right in the centre of Prague, in one of the most popular area of Prague: Vinohrady.
Leave the map home, take a tram to get off to Namesti Miru and turn right at the traffic light and follow the flown. Romantic streets, historical buildings, small bistrom, cafe, tea places and restaurants..everyday life passing by. What else.
Ask how to get to Havlickovy Sady a romantic oasis in the centre and a wonderful view on Prague 4. A romantic wooden bar where to sip some rose wine and taste some cheeses.

We have other places in our mind, less unknown but still romantic Letna park and its view on the river, thinking that once there was a massive statue of Stalin - measuring 15.5 metres in height and 22 metres in length - will not make it very romantic but go there at sunset anytime, any season...
